Nice to see Gostisbehere get the recognition. He's been impressing the heck out of me since training camp, but nobody was paying attention to Philly all year because they were considered an also-ran. Kid has got elite offensive instincts and is still very young for a d-man.
Also, it's nice to see that Jagr can still impress people, although I think it's a bit of ageism going on there.

Whats your favourite Canadian NHL city to visit? (37 votes)
38% (14) Vancouver
27% (10) Montreal
19% (7) Toronto
5% (2) Edmonton / Ottawa
3% (1) Calgary / Winnipeg
Ouch, big blow to the people of Calgary.
Gotta say as an outsider I agree with the results.

There was never a question that Vancouver was a more attractive city than Calgary. I like though that Calgary is also at the bottom of the avoid list. The overall ambivalence is nice.

Exactly, for a lot of guys it probably comes down to where their family and roots are as well. As you have said, it's the cities they don't want to visit that says more.

In what world is that a big blow to Calgary?
For a visit at a time, Vancouver is amazing. The coastal areas are some of the nicest scenery you can find, full stop. Add in a pretty good looking downtown, and voila.

I dont know.. I think hes been getting recognition. Ive seen him praised on here since around November and he's likely going to get a Calder nomination.
He's also of Basque extraction apparently. Dad was a jai-alai player.

Dale Weise in the most overrated player category? I guess one player in the voting must have it out for him.
I have to think that they asked Dale Weise and he decided to be a smartass (and voted for himself). Kind of like that time Jagr declared his favourite player growing up was...Jagr.
