Maybe a sign Jankowski will be signed and it still keeps the Flames in a position that allows emergency recalls.

NVM just saw the Grant recall

Poirier I think is auditioning for the Lee Stempniak "undervalue him 2nd liner until he's gone and then you want him back" spot.

I loved that gif of Shaw saying "Who the hell are you" to Hathaway on Saturday as they served their penalty. Couldn't catch what Hathaway said back, but I hope it was something clever.

Pretty sure Shaw didn't say that exactly

Hathaway said "you('ll) know me"

Count me in as someone that was both surprised and excited with Hathaway. Didn't think he would CONSISTENTLY be this difficult to play against and get so many opposing players off their games. I knew he was doing that at the AHL level, but many guys become way to hesitant to keep pulling that off at the NHL level. Good on him, and I think the Flames will make room for him next season.

Hamilton was up and down for me, but I think he got better and more comfortable out there. Didn't mind him in the least, though I don't think you can really pencil him in for next year. Will be tough for him to make it out of camp/pre-season listed on the Flames roster, but after seeing him I wouldn't say it would be the most shocking thing.

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Hartley also says Hathaway and Hamilton might be back prior to the end of the season. #Flames

It's not like the Flames are still fighting for the playoff spot or something. I kind of like it that they are trying out different players like Shinkaruk, Poirier and Grant. I already seen what Hathaway and Freddie Hamilton so I don't mind seeing the others from Stockton.

I wonder if Murray Edwards is ok with Bob's frivolous use of the travel expense account, what with him needing to move to London and such to save money.

The $30 Million or so he is saving should cover a few flights to Stockton.

Could also make a dent in that $200 million he wants.
