Thank you. I will not be posting either or will I be? It'll be a surprise I think.

Ladd has been okay...He is not really a #1LW, IMO, but, he is what we have for the job...He has been snake bitten (as has Weise), with goaltenders making amazing stops on his shots.

Agree with bandwagon, that the 'Hawks have been coasting...Q has been easing minutes on the top guys, and rolling 4 lines deep into games, even when trailing. As I said, Shaw/Panik/Dejardins have been our best line lately

Jankowski isn't in the lineup.

The rankings in the OP don't reflect a team whos among the worst in the league. I'd say the following:

Gaudreau: A+
Brodie: A
Monahan: A-
Hamilton: B+
Bennett: B+
Giodano: B+
Jokipakka: B+
Nakladal: B
Frolik: B
Backlund: B
Ferland: B-
Colborne: B-
Hathaway: B
Ortio: C
Ramo: D+
Bouma: D+
Engelland: C+
Hudler: C
Russell: C+
Jooris: C-
Granlund: C-
Smid: F
Stajan: D
Bollig: D
Jones: D
Raymond: F
Wideman: D
Hiller: F-

^ Why Gaudreau A+ and Brodie A? I'd have it the other way around.

Our defense hasn't been as good as our offense, oddly enough. Gaudreau makes an impact every time he steps on the ice, except for the power play and almost single handedly won us games during the 3on3, so I think he's had more of a impact towards some of the Flames' successes this year than Brodie.

Ok, now justify giving Hamilton the same grade as Gio...

Gio hasn't been that Great defensively. He's been insane offensively, but he gets no benefit of the doubt as the captain and veteran, whereas Hamilton does as a young newcomer

I just saw Glass step in from the blue line and wire one. All I could think of was Nakladal.

Your rankings also don't reflect a team that's worst in the league. 13 players either a A or B don't reflect one of the worst teams in the NHL especially when they are mostly our top guys.

Does anyone other than A Flames fan really think Monahan has been an A- this year? He's been good but A's are for players who are great imo and Monahan has had way too many off nights for him to be considered an A.

Gawd what a rocket of a shot. Thanks for posting.

You rarely see goals like that in the NHL.
