I hated these jerseys initially but they have grown on me over the years.
Nice to see more of the retros though. In an idea world they would be the permanent jerseys and the third would be the current third with the regular flaming C logo.

Just wondering where and what is the hold up to getting some new jerseys? The jerseys now are stale and that lettering font stinks. Long overdue. I personally love the retro's in both colors and hope they go back to that look.

They are a classic jersey, I would take them over the current jersey.

Retro jerseys should be our main jerseys. I follow a lot of Flames on social media and they've all made it clear they love the retro jerseys and are excited whenever they get to wear them.
They are the sexiest jerseys we've had.

We won't likely see a 30 team overhaul like we did in 2007, but I think it's likely that Adidas will want to do something to make a splash when they officially take over.
I bet that about 6 teams will get major uniform overhauls for 2017-18, and the Flames will be one of them.
So far, the only teams that went with non-traditional designs in 2007 that haven't made any significant changes to their primary uniforms since are: Calgary, Colorado, Columbus, Florida, Ottawa, Pittsburgh, and Washington. Florida is reportedly changing theirs next season, and Pittsburgh and Washington could both go full-retro. That leaves Calgary, Colorado, Columbus, and Ottawa as the likely targets for Adidas overhauls.
