I really have no idea why Sportsnet keeps putting Francis on air. I was extremely shocked when he made a few appearances on Satellite Hotstove a few years back. There must be better analysts (and when I think of analyst, I somehow can't get myself to think of Francis as one) out there. Better writers out there.
He has been 'ok' at times, but he has also been utterly unbearable too often.

That play looked totally innocent. He got tripped, then slid into the boards lightly. How the hell did he get injured from that? Sucks for him. Terrible season. Hope he can use that as motivation to rebound next season.

Sucks for Wideman, especially after sitting out for 19 games, but this is really the best case scenario for the Flames. They can continue to evaluate Wotherspoon or another prospect.
