Total goon move. I was liking Nurse's play and edge but this was totally uncalled for. 3 is on the low end of what he should have got, but now he has a record the next time he tries a stunt like this you can be sure it will be 5+.

I just watched the Domi fight that got him 1 game. NOT EVEN close to Nurse. Garbutt turtled and it was over quick with Domi throwing wildly and missing. Nurse kept at it knowing he was doing damage.
Nurse is less hard nosed blueliner and more punk.
Does he fight anyone that is around his weight class or fighting ability? He tried Lucic and got rag-dolled. So since then he fights max maccormick....he of all 6' and 175lbs.
Haley will ask him to fight next Sharks vs deadmonton game.

What? As a part of the pro-fighting crowd, there's a significant difference between two willing combatants going toe-to-toe for their team and attacking an unsuspecting victim. This wasn't a fight.

The tank for 1st pick is on full force. Who is next that KatzMacLowiarrelli asked to do something suspendable? Must be Talbot, he's the only one keeping them in games.
Why would the Oilers be pleased about this if their intention was to tank? If anything, Nurse's absence will mean much better on-ice results for them because he is no good.

Three games is actually a pretty strong sentence for a first-timer on the suspension front (and deserved here).
Now the league is in a position to react firmly if he does anything this stupid again.
To the person that said it should have been the same as Domi - no way. The 'incident' was the same in the sense that they both went after a guy for a perceived dirty hit.
But Nurse continued to throw haymakers at a guy that was clearly injured and not at all engaging in the fight.
