I expected a little better of a return actually. But all the best to Huds. Thank you for your time as a Calgary Flame.

Somewhat surprised. Expected a 2nd and 3rd or better

That's only because it appears to be working ok, if it'd gone badly, not so good timing then!

Crap return. Wonder if Feaster critics are going to defend Treliving here. I am going to miss Jiri Hudler.
The last two goal-scoring plays Johnny-Monny-Huds joined up for were amazing plays though. So there's that.

Expected more, but decent trade overall.
Now for the next question, who do we call up, and who plays the top line?

A respectable return. Would have liked a little bit more but this seems like a fair trade.

Good return considering Jiri was a ghost of himself for the majority of this season.

Jiri Hudler to Florida in exchange for a 2016 2nd-rounder and a 2018 4th-round pick

This was a weak season from him, but I really enjoyed watching him play. One of the few top 6 forwards on the team. I hope the Flames have a plan to replace him and improve the team for next year.
Good luck to Jiri, hopefully the Panthers go on a good run.

I'll take it.
Was hoping for a 2nd and 3rd but better that Hemsky got two deadlines ago.

The 4th round pick is in 2018, the 2nd round is 2016.

Underwhelming return
I mean Glencross returned a 2nd and 3rd and he's no longer in the league.
But hey enjoy the sunshine, Huds! It was a real pleasure watching you here. Great skilled player and guy.

I would have preferred to keep Hudler. I don't like the deal.

I'm just glad I get to keep cheering for Hudler. Also, this gives Flames fans someone to watch in the playoffs this year and cheer for.

I prefer having the picks and the cap space assuming we don't re-sign Hudler in the summer. He's going to ask for a lot and if we don't end ups signing him we're better in the long rung with these assets.
