Matthias ties it up at 1-1 later in the period. The second period has just started.

It's Babcock. He taught them well.

After one period in the Sabres-Ducks game, 0-0 tie. Sami Vatanen scored a power play goal early in the second period, 1-0 Anaheim.
The Sharks-Avalanche game remains tied 1-1 after two periods. Colorado has a 24-16 edge in shots.

Even if everyone comes back from injury, they are still three players short of icing an NHL calibre team. Their bottom three are a wasteland. I wonder if they would have more interest in solidifying that as well.

Jarome buries the patented one-timer to tie it up with the Sharks. Seen that a thousand times. Well, apparently 607, but you know what I mean.

February 24, just four games.
Iggy looked a bit off-balance, too. What a shot.

Lehner holding the Sabres in it. He's been really good since returning from injury and with that type of goaltending the Sabres are going to have a good chance of passing us unless Ortio goes on a magical run.
Sabres down 0-1 to the Ducks at the 2nd intermission.

Landeskog with the go ahead goal, 3-2 Colorado. It is late in the third period with less than four minutes left.

Horrible icing by Erik Johnson before that goal. Just make the smart play!

At first I really didn't like the gimmicky nature of 3-on-3 OT. But now I must admit, it's awfully exciting.

Unfortunately Sabres get shut out 1-0 by Andersen. Still a good game by Lehner holding the Ducks to 1. He may drag them out of the basement in this stretch run.
