Overpaying for one-dimensional wingers can be deadly. Those aren't their only weapons though, Parise, Koivu, Granlund, Coyle, Zucker, they have over two lines of scoring forwards. How do they not get scoring from that core up front with their puck moving defense?
I think they could use some size/strength on defense. It seems like they have a lot of skill up front but scoring seems to be a problem. Kind of baffling. If it was here I think we'd be blaming the scoring woes on the coach.
