Love emotional fights, cant get over you guys saying it is stupid or selfish. If it was Iggy we would have all commended him.

Kane might be a ######, but he can throw down with the best of them. I don't think I've ever seen him lose a fight.

No I wouldn't praise Iggy if he did something like this.

Fine one fight and done great pump up praise him.

But when one of your best players takes himself out of the game, that's not praiseworthy.

Basically Petrovic took one of Buffalo's better players right out of the game.

Kane isn't anymore valuable to Buffalo than Petrovic is to Florida

Kane just comes across as a guy who doesn't care too much about the teams that he plays for.

If I was the coach, I'd be utterly ripping his face off.

You don't want Kane fighting, I understand that. But the penalties are all coincidentals, it's not like his team is short handed.

Also, what's wrong with him high fiving fans on the way out? What is he supposed to do? Ignore them?

Yeah Kane has been pretty terrible all year. It actually hurt Florida more to lose Petrovic with Mitchell & Gudbransson already on IR, Kampfer playing hurt and making the ahl call-up Regner play more.

Except it is. Evander Kane is supposed to be an offensive leader for the Sabres. He can't score when he is spending 25 minutes of the game in the penalty box.

Fighting can rally a team, but fighting over and over like that is a sign of frustration, nothing else. And at that point, you aren't helping the team.

Kane did score though....

All joking aside, I just don't think Kane is that good of a player. I see him as a borderline second liner that can hit, fight, and fire his team up. I guess if some view him as Buffalo's "go to guy" then I could see the issue.

The guy has 21 points on the year though, not exactly an offensive Dynamo. I see this as him playing his role.

It's entertainment. I like it.

Doubt there were many fans in that building who didn't enjoy three fights between the same players.

They were badly losing that game already, of course he was frustrated. His fighting only pumped them up enough in that game to make it a little more respectable. I think it was more a message going forward, that no matter how bad it gets, we don't give up and we stay passionate about the final outcome.

Kane is one of those guys you probably shouldn't mess with when they're angry. Iginla, Lucic, Byfuglien, Simmonds...I'm sure there's a few others also.

At least he threw Lucic in there to lessen the blow of his point, haha.

Petrovic has a pretty sweet stat line. Goal, assist, +4, 29 PIM, 3 fights.

Did Petrova really lose the 2nd fight? He threw the only punches and got taken down...
