Yeah I got the coach too. The fitness test and the first workout I got were pretty reasonable. Then my next workout had a ton of "stand-ups" and a bunch of other ab work and I almost died. Haha.

I also set it up to do 4 coach workouts a week, and I go to spin 3x/week as well.

I did the 3/5 Aphrodite workout that my coach recommended yesterday. It made me wish for the sweet release of death and crawling over to my phone to finish my last rep was almost too much.

I tried it, got the Coach. Did the test, got my arse handed to me. Can't feel my legs. Setting up to start the first week tomorrow or day after.

Just did 1x Metis, which is my second time doing it. It's the 45 total burpees that get me. Man I need to learn to enjoy burpees. Tomorrow i'm supposed to do 2x Metis which would be 90 burpees. Just fantastic.

I`ve been using this for about a year. I stumbled across it, decided to give it a go and haven`t looked back.

It`s not perfect but overall I think it`s a really good program. It has been an excellent way to get me back in to a routine of working out, and taking care of my nutrition. One of the only things that I don`t like about it is that they`re not very strict on the form you use during the exercises. This is a small gripe however, and one that you can fix yourself.

Recently I haven`t been using the coach. I still use the free workouts that are provided on the app. Some of the shorter workouts are really good warm-ups that can be combined with other types of training. I`d recommend this particularly to people who are looking to get back in to a solid routine, as it has worked well for me.

And yes, you`ll learn to deal with burpees. haha

How many times did you guys have to use the chin-up bar? I happen to have one handy but apparently it won't fit on any of the door frames in my apartment (side note: FUUUUUUUU).

Just from browsing the workouts, I'd say at least 50% of them say you need a pull-up bar. What sort of bar do you have?

Side note: Just for the hell of it, I decided to attempt Kronos even though it looked insanely hard. I had to modify a couple exercises (i.e. did bent leg raises and then had to do 50 supported pull-ups after only 50 regular). My god, that was probably the most number of reps I've ever done in anything ever (900 total reps).

You can get shirts online that say "Burpees hate you too!"

Haven't committed to the "coach" yet, but gave Prometheus another try (5/5 this time). Kicked up the pace for the first two rounds (9:03) and finished 5/5 in 23:13. Sit ups are killing me. Fitbit said 144 bpm avg and 260 cals for a 23 min workout. Pretty good I think.

Should have worked out before dinner. Chilli wasn't so tasty the 2nd time

Just looked at week 2 from the coach. The program has definitely adjusted based on my feedback... which I may regret soon. 2x Morpheus and 2x Nemesis this week. And a regular Nemesis and an Iris.

My second week starts tonight. Doesn't look too bad, but there are definitely some sprints in there (Hermes, Apollon, 2/4 Venus, 3/6 Kentauros). I'll need to figure out where I'm going to do those considering some of the area around my house is still pretty icy...

Is there a way to set this up so you don't have to run? I really can't at this time, my knees just won't allow it. I could bike, though.

You can set a lot of the workouts with runs to "2x2" which means you need 2mx2m of space. I'm not sure if all the individual exercises are ok for your knees, but when you set up the app/coach it asks you what sort of restrictions you have and presumably alters things for you.

How's this going with everyone? I'm just about done week 3 and it has really picked up the difficulty in the workouts it provides me (I've had full Hermes, Aphrodite x 2, Athena x 3 and 2/3 Hades this week). I'm still really liking it though.

Yeah, i'm finishing off week 3 today.

Had Metis, 2x Metis, 2/4 Venus and finishing with Hyperion. Workouts have been longer and harder for sure. Feeling a lot better with breathing. Much harder for me to be out of breath which was really nice when I went skiing last weekend. Normally i'd be winded after some runs, but it hardly bothered me, and that was only after 2 weeks!

I sprained my wrist doing 300 climbers one of the workouts. Since then I've been a little leery about getting back to it, since the coach has 500 mountain climbers in my next workout.

That's too bad. Maybe update your restrictions for your wrist and see what the next week looks like?

I still have one workout left for the week today but I had a bit too much fun at a scotch tasting last night. Ugh.

Well it wasn't all in a row, thankfully. But over the whole workout there was 300 total. Which I thought was a bit intense. And then the next workout had 5 sets of 100. So... yeah. Wrist hell.

I did the Persephone x 3 workout today. Holy crap, I'm dying. I hate burpees so much.

Morpheus is a good warm up before doing weights. Who ever came up with Metis (x2) is a cruel, hate filled individual that should seek help. Took a long time to come down from that torture.
