Looks like no Nakladal tonight:

Kristen Odland @Kristen_Odland
Nakladal and Wideman are the fourth pairing, which means Engelland/Smid are likely in.

Sigh of relief to hear Brodie on the ice today
Hoping to see Nakladal tomorrow night then.

Hartley says Brodie is good to go tonight. #Flames

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Hartley also confirms team will go with the same blueline tonight, so no Nakladal. #Flames

Happy to see that Brodie won't miss a game.

I did kind of want to see how Hamilton would do back on the top line however. I think he's adjusted to the system which looked to be the cause of his struggles to start the season. Hamilton looked to be second guessing himself when making decisions trying to play within the Flames system. Lately he's been playing really well on both ends of the ice and even being more physical than he was in Boston (which isn't saying much but still).

Remember, Stubhub is USD. That's like 2 million Canadian.

Well here's hoping Russell has a better game... I dunno what it looked like on TV, but from my eye test live he was absolutely godawful vs Canes. It seemed like every time there was a bad pass or a lost board battle, I'd check who it was and was pretty frustrated when it was #4 all the time.

Maybe it was the dome foam..

Glad Brodie is okay, but why not give him a game off against the 30th place team and give Nakladal a go, leaving Brodie fresh for tomorrow night?

He just walked right in, he didn't Nak-lad-al! <said with a twang>

Because Hartley is in the mindset of getting to a playoff spot at all costs. This is a situation where the GM needs to make the decision for the coach, trade the vet (Russell) to open up a spot and see where the AHL talent is.

To be honest, I was kind of hoping Brodie would rest one game just to get a chance to see Nakladal.

Here's the projected lines. Bolig and Granlund sit again.

Does anybody know if there are any internet links to watch tonight's game?
Working away from home and too close to Edmonton to catch it in a restaurant.. :/

columbus currently at the top of standings, flames in a logjam for second overall - this game could clear things up or make them murkier

Sucks that Nakladal won't play tonight, but at the same time, why would you mess with the line-up that beat the Canes?

I'm sure he is happy to collect the big club dollas even if he's sitting in the pressbox
