Actually, serious post, I would like to nominate Florida.

Barkov, Bjugstad and Huberdeau is a pretty solid trio of young forwards. Not sure if I'd pick them, but they're worth mentioning.

Another great trio. I wanted to add more but the poll only allows 10 choices.

If we switch out Yakapov and put in RNH or even Hall, I think I'd take the Oilers line first, just on McDavid alone. It's a good thing the Oilers are no good at building an actual team around their key pieces, or they may actually have a team that could contend.

I picked other because of the reason Yen Man gave. I think I'd try and skew younger giving Flames Oilers Panthers advantage.

Good as Kane and Toews are they take up too much cap without knowing how the rest of this thought experiment goes.

I see it's a pretty even split between loving our own guys, and the proven winners.

I really like our core group, much better than most and they were a close second. But I went with Benn/Seguin

If they had even a legit 2nd liner listed, I would have picked them as well.

If everyone was the exact same age, I'd go with the Pittsburgh trio. The top 2 centres in the game. An elite winger in Kessel. Hard not to pick the top 2 centres. So many factors come into play though, so you can't really make a fair choice. Age plays a role. As well pretty much everybody would choose Hall over Yak and that easily makes them a top choice. The Flames trio is pretty good. The Hawks duo wins cups. Any reason OV is not included in the Caps list??

Some pretty odd options OP.

Was really hard to look at this objectively.

But with that said and really trying to do so, I still came back to the Flames trio.

some of these players are pushing 30 and some are 19

some are not among the top young players on their teams (Eakins? Yakupov?)

and why split the Oilers into two weaker groups - pick what you think is the best 3 (McDavid, Hall, Draisaitl?) and go with that

Should be a Florida trio in there. Barkov, Huberdeau, Bjugstad/Trochek/Smith?

Tough call. DAL, BUF, CHI, 1st EDM group or CGY trio I think. Haven't decided which yet. Too close to call?

I think that option would look a lot better if Valeri Nichushkin was listed instead. He's not having a phenomenal year but still has a lot of potential. Either way, not sure how much stock you can put in a poll like this when it seems to be intentionally biased with so many odd combinations that don't represent each team's top 3 forwards.
