They're just saying its new so they can re-use the old patterns they've got tucked away in a storeroom someplace and so people will buy their 'new' jerseys.

Nice to see a change. Their current logo is glaringly 80s.
I was hoping they'd keep a classic look. Would have been nice if they created a mark that didn't involve letters. Always find it lazy when a team needs to have who they are written on their logo.
Might as add a new logo with the new great players coming in.
So the logo is going to be small, overhyped and it's going to get overshadowed by something better by someone else? That'll match the new leaf players for sure!

Looks like a heritage logo. Where's the creativity with the Leafs organization. It's nothing bad, but what the heck is with regurgitation nowadays? There's only so much you can do with a Leaf, but c'mon now. Going back to a 1930's logo? Really?

There's only so much you can do when your colours are blue and white and your logo is a Leaf. I would say it's a lot more exciting than watching that team.
