Of course the Lecavalier trade is working out for the Kings. Of course.

Sutter told him to go out and just have fun. No pressure or anything just be happy. Well, that seems to have been the tonic that he needed.

Wouldn't be surprised if he scored 20 goals this season and has a big playoff winning his second cup.

Because of course that's how it works.

Gotta agree with Caged Great on this, never under estimate a veteran's experience. Dave Andreychuk, the 20 year NHL veteran, played with a low stress level and he along with Lecavalier and the rest of the Lightning beat our Flames for the cup 12 years ago. Coach Sutter knows how to use veteran talent to the max, a couple of 2004 examples are Martin Gelinas and Dave Lowry.

Okay, I can't figure the Rangers out, they are wildly inconsistent. The Senators win 3-0 with 35 save SHUTOUT by Anderson. The Rangers are hanging to a playoff spot as they are just 5 points up on the Sens and Carolina after their victories. There are 10 teams within 5 points of each other in the eastern conf. That's crazy. The Bhawks win 2-0 as Crawford stops all 25 shots for his 7th SHUTOUT of the season. Elliot played well for the Blues, but, the Bhawks seem to have their number. Same goes for the Kings when they play the Sharks. The Sharkies have a 2-1 lead and they lose their bite on the Kings. Lecavlier ties it up with 12 seconds left in reg time and then a great shot to the top right corner by Gaborik that beat former Kings goalie Marty Jones for the 3-2 OT win. Enroth sure has the Sharks number in his career as he is 5-0-0 against them. Weird coincidence on the OOT, the Blues-Bhawks were tied in shots at 25-25 and the Kings-Sharks were tied 32-32.

The reason the Sunday doubleheader was better than the Sat. doubleheader......Edmonton is no good!
