Would be a cool idea to use a Uber like infrastructure to augment this delivery method though, all insurance aside.

That would be the optimistic way of looking at things. Realistically though, if one high/drunk person decides to not pay for their order, he is probably not going to be profitable for the week. I wonder if he has thought these things through.

This idea just seems to be stupid to me, I can't think of any neighborhoods where there's not a convenience store just around the corner, or within a 10 minute walk.
