Man, I can't wait to see the Panthers win 12 straight, tonight.

Roy had pulled Pickard at Even strength...'Hawks had already chased Varlamov...I am not sure if this was disgust at his goaltending, or a message to his team that they weren't playing well enough to DESERVE a goaltender.

I honestly wish there was more crazy coaching decisions like that. Treat a single game more like baseball managers do where it doesn't matter if you lose 5 - 1 or 11 -1, next game is a new game.

Instead of always trying to minimize damage, sometimes look at a game and go "Well, it's 6 - 2, so what's one more goal if it goes in? On the other hand, maybe we get some momentum and score. Then we put pressure on and maybe pull the goalie again in a couple minutes".

Nothing to lose, just go for it.

Still a ways to get to the longest winning streak in the NHL which was 17 games by the 92-93 Pittsburgh Penguins, but isn't it crazy that Jaromir Jagr was on both teams?

Now with eight minutes left, Roy puts Pickard back in...even though the 'Lanche had an O-zone draw.

I just can't understand what he was thinking.

6-1 Caps. Wilson banks it off Hamburgler from below the goal line.

thefoss1957, you're by far CP's best opposition poster, but we collectively agreed last week that "the Lanche" just simply can't be a thing.

He's desperate, and he thinks that by doing unconventional things, people will forget how bad the Avs have been for the last few years.

Distract, distract, distract.

501 for Ovi as he undresses Karlsson. 7-1.

Kinda have to feel bad for the Senators. Their last 2 games have been against the two hottest teams in the NHL, the Caps and Panthers.

NFL playoffs. People would rather watch 6-0 football games I guess.

I have been watching the WGN game. Kane and Duchene each have a pair of goals and Chicago leads 6-3.

Wow, some of the best power forward moves we've seen in this generation are just becoming routine for Ovechkin. He's looking like he'll be one of the all time greats in this league.

Jays...I think that Crapalanche needs to be abbreviated!

I currently live in their TV zone, and am irritated by the frontrunner type fans around here! (Sort of like Utah Jazz fans, who are REAL fans when they have a GOOD team).

On the Game, it ended up a 6-3 final...Duchesne x 2 and MacKinnon for the 'Lanche...Hossa x 2, Kane x 2, Mashinter and Toews for my 'Hawks.
