Such a weird selection process... Leo Komarov makes it over JVR, yet Giordano makes it on reputation.

Too bad there wasn't room for Cammalleri. 4th in points in the Division, but doesn't make it because of the one player per team rule.

I really think they should have done 12 player teams.

The Pacific Division forward group seems ridiculously unbalanced. I count 5 wingers with only one natural centre in Pavelski. All the others have at least 3.

Still, well done to Johnny and Gio.

I don't think it really matters 3 on 3.

All Star is based on reputation and stats.

Giordanos season last year, the fact that he has more points then Brodie, and the 10 goals is what got him in the game.

Think they should have been more flexible on the positions though - who cares the number of d vs forwards - just take the best players, and they should probably have had two more players per roster.

Also understand wanting a representative from each team but think that should be for the weekend and not the game. Maybe somebody from Toronto doesn't play in the game but they get invited to the skills competition or something like that. Also is a travesty that John Klingberg is not on the team

Should be Klingberg over Byfuglien. For the mandatory Jet put in Wheeler instead of Toews. Fun fact: Even in a down year Crosby is outscoring "best player in the game" Toews.

That said I fully endorse John Scott because they took away the drunk draft so **** 'em.

Happy for both Gio and Johnny, but agree that Brodie has been better overall this year.

Other than Scott, which is a fan vote thing, can't really argue that any of the other choices from the Pacific don't deserve to be there.

No Getzlaff is somewhat interesting although he's been very meh this year, and only one wonder twin from the Nucks.

What one player per team rule? We have two. Nashville has three. Dallas has two, Minnesota has two. Several others as well.

I didn't think that rule was a thing, if so how did these teams get multiple (aside, perhaps, from Nashville who is hosting)

Think he is referring to the rule that every team needs to have at least 1 player representing them.

I think he means that each team has to have at least one player representing them in the All Star Game

at least one player per team

because of that Klingberg misses out as the Jets need a rep in Byfuglian

and Cammalleri misses out as CBJ needs one in Saad

Metro and Central are going to school the other two divs.

Though Gaudreau may single handedly win the tourney.

At least Johnny will have no problem walking around Byfuglien's big ass.

Wow, I don't think this debate could have been more fully and satisfactorily resolved than by finding out where you come down on it.

GO JOHN SCOTT!

In seriousness, does the Pacific division have only one center? Joe Pavelski, that's it? Is Corey Perry's presence necessary? He's been mediocre this season. I'd have taken Kopitar, Carter, or even the other Sedin.

That said, I guess it makes sense that the Pacific is the worst team. It's the worst division.

I don't like how this All-Star forces fraternization between Gio and Gaudreau and our worst enemies like Hall and Sedin

Mike Kelly ‏@MikeKellyNHL I'd like odds of the 'you didn't pick us' team

Crosby
Wheeler
Panarin
Hoffman
Kopitar
Steen
Hedman
Klingberg
Keith
Lundqvist
Crawford
