The last couple years of that era of Flames history was unbearable for me. I would have pretty much taken anything other than that. I 100% wanted to see a rebuild but could have never dreamed of things playing out the way they have.You would have expected the team to become a bootom feeder for the next 5 years and within a season we were better than we were pre rebuild. Things sure worked out pretty well and hopefully the best is still to come.

The shortened season in 12/13 was the absolute worst.

We thought Cervenka would come in and over the course of the season become a #1 C for Iggy. And the lone bright spot (up until the tear down) was Jbo's "resurgence" by which he posted okay numbers as opposed to abysmal numbers.
