Dirty play for sure. What I don't like about the play in its entirety is that Borcieski or what ever, hah butchered that one.. Is that the ref could called interference on him as Marchand was pursuing the puck carrier.

Nope, of course not. That is just silly.

However, it is a huge spectacle during the NHL season that gets hyped up through its own tv show on top of typical NHL advertising. The appeal of playing in an outdoor game that is designed to be a massive, publicity event for the NHL is obviously a big deal for a player. It is a potential once in a lifetime chance.

The NHL wants to play up the significance but at the end of the day it's another regular season game worth 2 points. They play 82 of them. And how many outdoor games have the Bruins already had, this must be their third by now.
