BOA interesting fact #3: The last Oiler to score an OT goal v. the Flames was Shawn Horcoff on Mar 16, 2006

BOA (known) fact #4: Oilers=NG
What about all time BOA, wonder what the record would be?

Including OT's and shootouts, Flames lead 107-90-18 and we all know the gap will continue to widen.

Sooo...Suck it.

Have you actually watched an Oilers game this season?

To give the Oilers SOME credit, Hall and Draisaitl have been playing out of this world lately. Draisaitl especially: On pace for 98 points (Johnny is on pace for 91)

As long as they have a team built on tanking for lottery picks the battle of Alberta means zero to me. Fata them.

True story. I used to golf with a buddy when we were younger and of course it was competitive. He had his clubs stolen. POS set but that's all any of us had. So he got a fake receipt and scammed his way to a kick ass and very expensive set of clubs that he was super proud of. Never liked playing with him after. He was a cheat, pure and simple, and it took all of the fun out of it for me.

Same with the oilers and the shameless fans who still cheer for that crap. I hope their building burns down and they don't play another game in that city for a decade.

But that's just me. Merry Christmas

I guess what really counts is the playoffs right? No use winning the regular season without going to the big show. What is the overall record BOA during the playoffs series wins vs loss? Oh wait...4-1 for the Oilers. Oh geeze. Who is going to suck this one?

You mean at the all-star break. But do you really, honestly believe they will be?

Fun fact: Karri Ramo currently has better stats than both Oilers' goalers.*

*Nilsson's save % is .003 better. Ramo is better on GAA and on both over Talbot.

Who's winning the "finished last overall" derby?

Who's about to tie the all time record for consecutive seasons out of the playoffs?

Who's winning the race for most jerseys tossed on home ice by exasperated fans?

What happened in the 80s and what happened in the last decade? Which is more relevant?

I think it's about time to stop bragging about cups when all players playing in the NHL at that time have long since retired. Even the GM of those teams has retired for crying out loud.

Yeah, reaching back into a time when most of us were barely teenagers to make yourself feel good suits you. It's so Oilers to keep dwelling on what happened 25 years ago.

IF the Oilers ever manage to make the playoffs again (and I believe there is some reasonable doubt that that will happen) then we can talk. Until then, your brandishing of records from antiquity is nothing more than a child's taunt—and not even a good one.
