Panthers win in a shootout after outshooting the Senators 40-16. Barkov and Pirri score in the shootout. Brandon Pirri is now 5 for 6 in shootout attempts this season and Barkov is 4 for 4!

Don't look now, but the Panthers have won 5 in a row and are just 1 point behind the Montreal Canadiens for 1st in the Atlantic division.

If ever there was a year for the Panthers to grab a play off spot, this is the year.

Good news for the cats, the Habs lost to the Wild 2-1 in regulation. The population of Pominville increased as he scored the opening goal in the first period. No scoring in the middle period and then Coyle scored to increase the lead to 2-0. Carr scores for the Habs and Condon was in net for the Canadiens.

Patrick Sharp and Johnny Oduya do some damage to their former team as the Stars defeat the Blackhawks 4-0.

The Blues beat the Bruins 2-0. Tarasenko scores his 22nd goal of the season!

The Devils hang on for a 4-3 regulation road win over the Red Wings.

Pacific Division team games

The Kings score 100 seconds into the game and are currently up 2-1 over the Sharks midway through the first period.

It is 2-2 in the Leafs-Coyotes game midway through the third period.

The Ducks lose 3-2 in overtime.

Happy to see Schlemko doing well. Exactly what you want in a 7th defenseman.

Not so happy to see Sven starting to pick it up. Hopefully just a blip.

The Sedins team up to score the winning goal and hang on for the 2-1 regulation win. The thing that stands out in this game was their excellent lpenalty killing. The Canucks had ten minor penalties (including a too many men call in the final two minutes) and only allowed one power play goal.

The Coyotes win 3-2 in regulation time, Doan assisted on the winning goal for a three point night.

That 70s line for the Kings are looking good. The Kings score in Toffolian fashion, his second of the game, 3-1 Kings.

I hope the Panthers make it to the playoffs and do some damage. Definitely my second favourite team. How can you not like them with Lou and Jagr? Plus a lot of great young players.

Man, good thing Flames won tonight. Got no help on the OOT tonight except for the Ducks losing.

'Hawks with a disinterested, pre-break, road, performance...props to the Stars for taking advantage so handily.
