Flames should petition the nhl for a handful of home weekend afternoon games. Just to get used to it.

Didn't deserve to win despite the score and the shot chart.

I really hope BB or BT makes some moves to add some ammunition to our PP. Sitting on their asses and do nothing is NOT an option

Who is our special teams coach? He needs a major talking to, our PP is anemic at best.

At least they made the final score respectable.

Awful start and ineffective PP killed them...

The PP looked pretty good at times, but you still need results sooner of later. Cost them at least one point today. At least they're shooting more from the point and Ferland started to see some time, using it to work around the front of the net, so that made me happy.

Looked like it was going to be a blowout 5 minutes into the game, so have to give the boys some credit for pushing back the rest of the way.

Might as well start another winning streak tomorrow.

That might have been the best game we have played in St. Louis in 5 years.

We did lose, but at least it was close, unlike every other game against them in that building.

Loving the way this team keeps on trying.

I think we have what it takes to make the play-offs.

Today wasn't our day, but tomorrow will be.

GFG!

Came up short but can't fault the team effort. STL is a Bruising opponent.

Well, at least they made it close and didn`t get blown out.

2 things I really wanted to see happen this season: win at the Honda center and beat those ****ing Blues at least once.

Time for Treliving to have an intervention with that coaching staff regarding the PP...Raymond & Colborne with Gaudreau, that's criminal...

Very terrible start and lack of a PP cost them this one big time, they were otherwise in this game through most of it. Seeing Ferland on the PP doing a good job of screening, keep him there Hartley please!

Was a nice break in the Saturday, hopefully they come out on fire against Detroit tomorrow!

Full credit to the Flames for making a game of it in the 3rd.

I was a little annoyed at how casual they were in the last minutes. It was like they were thinking "screw it, we just won 7 in a row, we can drop this one and it's no big deal". That annoyed me.

Absolutely pissed at the power play. This is inexcusable at this point. Whoever is making decisions needs to be relieved of those duties for now. Just disgusting.

Pretty sure we're not gonna score another PP goal this season, and still make the playoffs. History in the making.

Power play is a huge problem.

Everyone's blaming the powerplay for this loss but I actually thought the powerplay was much improved. The bounces didn't go our way, and that's why the Flames lost.

Afternoon road game against the Blues, went better than I expected. Called it a measuring stick game and they made something of it against a team that dominates them. I call that some good progress.

Aside from the PP, the Flames have won 7 in a row on 5v5 play and are at their peak in that department. DET is not going to be easy tomorrow either. At least they get a day and a half off.
