Should've been able to handle Buffalo. Cut it a bit close for comfort but I'm just thankful they followed through and found a way to win a game they should win.

Feels weird to say but will be glad to have Ramo back next game.

That hit on Frolik was damned near suspension worthy... Ref right there... Should be reviewed and suspended.

Please get well quickly Ramo.

Granular, Bennett and colborne played a ton this game. Colborne with most TOI of all forwards

Got away with that one. Pleased we've won with some big contributions from Monahan, Gaudreau and Granlund. Defence also started to regularly contribute with points as well.

But I'm sorry, what does Gelinas do besides special teams coaching? Because he simply can't coach our PK and whilst I know we are missing Russell, Bouma and Byron, we shouldn't have the worst in the league with mostly the same PK units as last season. Its embarrassing at the moment and its really getting on my nerves.

Solid win! What I found really impressive was the young talent on the ice

-Gaudreau
-Hamilton
-Brodie
-Monahan
-Bennett

-Ristolainen
-Reinhart
-Eichel

I'm sure I'm missing a bunch. These are the future stars of the league. 2 rebuilding teams who (hopefully) are future contenders.

I know Hiller probably wanted that 2nd goal back (3rd was a deflection, not his fault), but I give him props. To come play an NHL game while still feeling the effects of the flu is pretty hardcore. Hirsch seems to have forgotten that part.
