Yeah but doesn't it taste like cigarette smoke? hehehe.

i went there the other day and if you park in the under ground parkade they have these 2 old men driving laps around the parkade taking you from your car to the elevator. hehehe. it's the funniest thing i have ever seen. I feel bad for them though. that a hella lot of carbon monoxide for an 8 hour shift.

Or another thing you can do for lunch one day if you feel like being a loser is to go back to the Sir Winston Churchill lunch room and order some good ol spicey fries!!!

You know what I am talking about!

That's why you repeatedly say what you want.

"Two egg McMuffins and two hashbrowns please"
"Will that be all for you today, sir?"
"Two egg McMuffins and two hashbrowns!!!"
"Yes, I got that, will that be all?"
"EGG MCMUFFINS AND HASBROWNS!!.... to go please"

Never fails then.

I don't know if that works or not. It's 2 different people that take your order and then gives you your food. It's complicated work you know.

Well, after my success story on Thursday with Burger Burger, I'm looking for more suggestions!

Anyone else know of any other hidden gems downtown that havent been mentioned yet?

go to Thi Thi for Vietnamese subs (across from the Harry Hayes building, but they might have a location now on Stephen Ave). 20 minute wait, but well worth it.

it's basically a sub...but the chicken or beef has a decent flavour to it (not sure how to describe, it's not spicy, but getting there)...then they have carrot, cucumber, onion, cilantro, some sort of delicious sauce, hot peppers that you can put on...you won't regret it.

There is indeed a Thi Thi on 8th Avenue around 6th Street SW. The lines do tend to be fairly long unless it's raining.

Thi Thi makes the best Vietnamese subs in Calgary. That place is amazing.
