Bernier was traded for frattin, scrivens, and a 2nd rounder (that year or next)....

Given that they want offense I wonder if hudler would be enough. Sucks the guy has fallen off so much so far this year.

i wouldn't mind either. Both offer upgrades over what what we currently have in some sense.

Khudobin looked terrible versus the flames the one game versus the flames this year.

But how will we get the first overall pick if we trade for an actual goaltender.

Never really understood the love for Khudobin.

Would love to get Andersen however.

Right now I wouldn't trade for either, in the off season I'd try to get Anderson.

If Anderson can stay healthy he'd be a great pickup.

Anderson just turned 26. Seems like he'd be a good fit age-wise, although I don't know much about him other than numbers.

Wasn't Anderson the final piece that pushed Hiller out of Anaheim?

At this point, I think Anderson will definitely be an upgrade to our existing goalies.
Hudler to play with Getzlaf and Perry sounds like a good starting point?

What would Andersen be asking for a contract? Things to consider if we trade for him.

I'm absolutely on-board with trading for Andersen. He's not an all-star by any means but he'll give the team a good chance to win every night.
Plus the thought of him supplanting Hiller once again is quite satisfying.

Like others have mentioned, something around Hudler + pick/prospect would sit well with me, but not sure it'd get it done

Could you imagine if we traded for Andersen and he pushed Hiller onto waivers and out of a job yet again? Hiller would probably think long and hard about Tonya Harding-ing him.

Default Dreger: Andersen or Khudobin maybe available. Flames interested?

It may be more to his benefit to think long and hard about not sucking.

I feel like Anderson is a mild/moderate upgrade. Kind of meh, depending on what it takes to get him.

TBH I'd rather ditch Raymond for Bernier than give up more assets for Freddie.

+1 on Andersen being underwhelming as a long term solution. Only if he comes relatively inexpensively.

I'd sooner "buy" Bernier at a lower cost than spend assets on Andersen and then have to re-sign him to a longer term contract this coming summer. Buy Bernier low, give him the remainder of this season and next year to see if he can establish himself.

Throw in Hiller and I'd make that move.
