He let in all four goals in the first period. The Capitals had a 4-0 lead, but, the Avalanche are coming back as they scored two goals in the second period. It is 4-2 now after two periods.

The Caps are a different team this year and while they don't necessarily look as dangerous offensively as seasons past (they're still very dangerous), they look a lot more complete and solid all around.

Ducks getting demolished in Tampa. Good or a bad thing ahead of Tuesday? Winnipeg edge infront against the Coyotes. San Jose soldier on. Mixed night so far.

NHL network will be showing the Chicago/Vanc game with a delay, I guess...my listing shows a 2130MST start...I bet I am stuck with the Vancouver homer's feed too...

The Senators are also taking to the Flyers, 4-0 Ottawa.
No come back for Colorado, it is now 7-3 Capitals.

Are you sure the NHL Network is showing the game? NHL.com, CBC.ca along with Directv and others show the game is on Centre Ice.

I'm going to say Calgary demolishes Anaheim on Tuesday leading to some Anaheim trades afterwards.

The Panthers with a Flames esq comeback against the Rangers. 4-4 and they've just missed a penalty shot as well.

Nice come back by the Panthers. They were down 4-2, Jokinen scores a power play goal with 2:03 left in regulation time and then Jagr ties the game 14 seconds later!

You are correct about the tape delay. I did not know the NHL Network did a tape delay of a live game already in progress. The simulcast will be the CBC feed of Jim Hughson, Craig Simpson, and Cassie Campbell-Pascall.

Reimer has a good game between the pipes - but can't stop a 150 km per hour missile from Chara at the top of the circle with about 5 mins left in the 3rd - so the Leafs lose.
Regarding Philly it is hard to believe they are one of the lowest scoring teams in the NHL this year. Dave Hakstol may soon be on a short leash there.

Toews with a snipe on the PP puts the Hawks up 1-0 on the Nucks in the first.
Hansen just catches a Hamhuis slapshot in the ear in front of Crawford - ouch. Hansen goes down the tunnel.

Shane Doan is an exemplary role model for a very good reason.
He does things right on and off the ice.
Albertans should be proud of him.

Doan was especially brave running Little after the game ended. Didn't want a piece of anyone else near him, nope, the smallest guy on the ice.
Doan is a piece of crap.

No he's not. He's a great person who is extremely well respected off the ice.
I was fortunate enough to go into the Coyotes dressing room after a game with my hockey team and he's the only guy on the team who stuck around after to talk to us and take pictures with us. He was really good to us.
The Doan hate is ridiculous and makes absolutely no sense to me.

Oh right. He ran and injured a goaltender, then, attempted to pick a fight with a guy half his sized to avoid getting his comeuppance... but naw it's all good cuz some guy on the internet said he was cool one time.
