Meh.

If I was conspiratorial, I'd say Hartley's personal preference for Ramo is a factor for why he plays the first of a back to back instead of Ortio. Especially after having a not-so-hot outing against Florida.

Ugh, this road trip could easily be 0-4. I try to be positive but this team isn't really giving much reason to be.

Would have rather seen Ortio get the start against TB and Ramo face the Caps.

Ortio hasn't seen action in a while, and we desperately need to get a goalie hot. Between both teams, I see a much better chance at him performing against TB and let Ramo try to redeem himself in the 50 shots he'll face against Washington.

Then we get to evaluate which goalie gave us a better chance on the trip more properly than Ramo laying a stinker... then getting the easier of the B2B.
