New Jersey is really playing well right now. With a top 5 goaltender they've got a shot to be a playoff team this year.

Has Remenda ever agreed with a penalty called against the oil?

They remind me of the two hosts of MXC. Except these two take themselves seriously.

Or the Sharks when he did color there? No. Whiny and snivelling was his forte.
Incredible that this guy was an assistant coach for 4 years in the league, and, that he got onto CBC HNIC for one season.

Don't care what people say, Darnell Nurse has looked good. He's gonna be a great d-man by the looks of it.

When they announced that offsides were going to be challengeable under the Coach's Challenge, I was opposed to it because I knew it would lead to ridiculous calls like we saw tonight in Edmonton.
45 seconds after the Pens entered the zone, they scored, and it was called back because a player lifted his skate a fraction of a second before the puck crossed the line... 45 seconds before the goal was scored.
That's ridiculous. How does that improve the game in any way? On one hand, fans and media complain about the games being too low scoring, then they call back a goal like that.

Awful Goaltending, awful defending, and Awful puck management doomed the 'Hawks...Q pulled his goalie down 3 with 6:42 to go...a 4 - 2 Devils final.

Agree...He was under contract, and there was no itching need to move him, as his Cap hit was minimal...
Many 'Hawk fans felt that, with the pressing need to get under the cap, CRAWFORD would have been the logical guy to move...Darling/Raanta were both under contract at under $2 million combined, and certainly there would have been a market for a 2-time Cup winning goaltender...and the 'Hawks had won cups with unproven goalies twice before (Niemi and Crawford)
It's not that I am a Crawford hater (and there are plenty of 'Hawk fans that are), but the pragmatic move to get under the Cap, would have been to dump Crawford, and improve Defense depth...right now, with Keith hurt, the 'Hawks only have 3 NHL quality D-men, and 1 youngster who appears NHL ready...the last couple games, Crawford and the 'Hawks have been victimized by a general lack of experience in the D-zone, giving up 11 goals in 4 periods.
