Can't believe the losers laughing at this. If it was Oiler fans laughing at one of the Flames you'd all be up in arms. Hope the kids alright. Not his fault the Oilers are a lucky scum franchise.

He looked pretty weak falling over like that. But considering how painful that must have been, he is a tough bugger to get up and go to the bench like it ain't no thang.

Hopefully McDavid is smart enough to have his own doctors and not rely on the quacks up there... the same quacks who told Smid to rub dirt on his neck until it started bulging and he needed surgery, and bungled Sourays injury and told management they Souray was ready when he wasn't.

First off, I do hope the kid heals up despite the team he plays for. I just found it annoying that my Score App notified me of his injury almost instantly while I still have yet to see anything on Kopitar's. For those not familiar with the app, you can follow specific players, as I do for my pool, to get updates on injuries and such. I follow Kopitar. I do not follow McDavid.

#### I'm so sick of McDavid already.

I feel kind of like I'm watching one of those overbearing mothers who documents every crap their kids take and broadcast it to the world with the media saturation in Canada on him.

Can the Oilers film his surgery and every moment of his rehab to satisfy the demand for at least 2 hours a day of coverage over the next 6 weeks while he's out?

if its a collar bone i don't feel bad for the kid at all. I've broke a collar bone, didnt hurt very much to be honest and was healed in 4-5 weeks. if its a debilitating injury that causes him financial distress or something maybe id feel bad, or a severe concussion that puts him in a terrible place like nate horton. But if its a shoulder or a collar bone why do i have to sit around pouting that he got hurt? Im not cheering for people to get hurt, but injuries happen in every sport. Flames didn't roll over last year when giordano got hurt and i doubt many oilers fans were crying saying "damn what a talent its a shame he'll probably lose the norris and they'll now be in tough to make the playoffs".

Im so sick of people being so politically correct all the time. If you want to irrationally hate someone for playing on your rivals team you damn well should be able to.

Aw man, it looks so much like him trying to do everything he can to help his sad-sack craptastic team.

I dislike McDavid because hes an Oiler but I cant fault his work ethic. It bitterly sucks that he got injured for putting in effort. No one deserves that.

Edmonton Oilers @EdmontonOilers
Coach McLellan says @cmcdavid97 has an upper-body injury that will keep him out long term.

I don't think Chris Kelly's injury warrants a new thread. And neither does McDavid's.

But if you are going to make a thread about another team's injured player, you should probably do it for the most horrific injury of the night.

Hint, it's not McDavid's.
