Calgary Flames | The Good, Meh, and Ugly

Frolik is in a a 15 game goal scoring slump.... 11 this year and 4 in last year's playoffs. The last goal he scored was the last game of the season against Ortio and the Flames AHL team. so basically in NHL games his slump goes for 18 games.

He is meh if he is considered a 3rd/4th liner... as the highest paid Flame forward he is awful.

Backlund was supposed to be a solid #2 center.


Hamilton is finishing the worst month (by far) of his 3 year NHL career. Look at the splits on ESPN link

worst month last year was December 14 games -5 and 8 pts or October 12 games 6 pts +1

Giordano at 6.75M is getting outplayed by Phanuef.

The only good thing about this year is Johnny. The way he is playing truly leads me to believe he will be a top 5 player in the league in the next 2-3 years.

The rest of the team has been bad/ugly in my opinion.

TJ Brodie (very small sample size but he hasn't been atrocious at all, I'd say first game back he was fine)
