Disagree. 13/14 Flames were better than this. If the 14/15 team played like this, it would be pretty unsettling. The fact that the 15/16 team is playing like this is even worse.

We need a Dubnyk to come save us in net and then a top 6 forward. Not going to happen.

Trade Hamilton. He literally is the worst player on the ice almost every night. Bollig gave him a run for his money tonight though.

So, for 2 weeks we've screamed for Ortio, and result is the same.
This team is a disaster, Johnny is the only one with his head on the outside of his ### at this point. Disgusting.

Best thing that could have happened for this club.

All three goalies have been getting blown out. It almost doesn't matter who is in net.

Honestly, what bugs me about the team is the deadweight; someone posted in the other thread $15 mil tied up in 4th line talent and potential press box players.

That money would be better spent on a few kids and a bad ass power RW.

This team looks suspiciously similar to the Brent Sutter flames.

No offensive confidence at all. Players looking to pass when they need to shoot. Everything they manage to generate goes through the singular efforts of an exceptional winger.

Highly touted addition to an already strong (on paper) defensive core who ends up completely sucking.

Every player looks miserable and lifeless. The only difference at all is the lack of an all-star goaltender to pull their asses out of the fire.

Again, Ortio lets in a bad goal and it just seemed like they know they can't come back.

It is frustrating but I'm not giving up yet.

I have no idea who they should trade or what they need to do. Some good play for about 5 minutes in the third, loads of pressure but nobody wants to shoot it seems.

Just get the puck on the net and crash it. Seems so easy for the other teams played against us. Blah.

That was difficult to watch, again.

What are you talking about?

Many people expected the Flames to be first in line for Connor McDavid last year.

The 14/15 Flames were expected by many to be much worse than the 13/14 Flames.

On his current pace Hamilton is going to have a horrendous +/-. Talk about surprises. He is on pace for something around -100.

I know the Defence is going to get a lot of the blame (and they should to a point), but what's happening with this team right now is similar to what was going on during the 2006 season.

The forwards are just not cutting it. There is so little offensive zone time that by the time the third period roles around, the defence is exhausted.

Players that had played and progressed so rapidly over the past couple of seasons look like they are regressing. Backlund, Jooris, Hudler and even Monahan are really struggling right now to create offence. When the teams top centres are under-performing, the team is in trouble. Backhand has been absolutely invisible.

I'll admit I really wanted to see him play.

But I would rather suck with the future starter than the guys who are on their way out.

I'd rather shelter the rookie when the team is playing like . Don't want to destroy his confidence.

Maybe.

Instead of stupid staged Hartley fights, tonight is where I would have liked to see some fire.

Iggy would have tried to maul someone tonight.

The only fiery guy we have is Johnny, and obviously we don't want him doing that.

This team doesn't give a crap, why should I.

It's like they just want Hartley to be fired. This system is looking like the biggest joke of the NHL right now.

Super scary.

All the stats guys pointed to how many career seasons people had last year.

Not only the results is scary, but also the trade value for players. Anyone we can afford to trade is mired in a slump.

Haha! OT will be awesome tonight.
