The Kings appear to have woken up as they have won three straight games.

Garret's a tool. Weren't two canucks stars in a loss? Canucks are winless at home. Not a good looking team, Miller is padding the stats, he's playing very well.
Baertschi stapled to the bench. Saw him after the game and I laughed in his general direction. The other kids didn't look good except for Hutton, I like his game. Bartowski is terrible and yes, he and Sibsa were a pairing...

Disagree with one thing, Bartkowski is not terrible. Actually wish we would have got him in the trade that wasn't a trade. He can be a solid 4-5 guy.

Interesting Ovi got the GWG...
If you remember there was a bunch of hubbub about Ovi coming out during intermission into the Flames zone and doing a fake deke and shot on Ramo. He quickly scored a goal right after that.
I was lucky to make it to GM Place last night and watch, and lo and behold, he did the exact same thing to the Canucks and not a single Canuck, not even Miller, did a damn thing about it. I wonder if the Oilers catch on.
Also another weird thing about Ovi: he apparently was one of the few Russian players who stayed on the ice for the anthem during the Worlds after they lost and encouraged his teammates to stay too. However, last night before even the last line of O Canada was sung, he started doing a lap. Apparently he did the same thing in Calgary too. Weird guy. Hell of a hockey player.

For a kid who no one thought was NHL bound in the next few years if ever just 4 months ago is that good is shocking to me. It's like if Kulak became the Flames second best defenseman. He's so poised and never panics. Always makes the right play and he's constantly using his stick to strip the Forward of the puck.
Impressive

If we are displeased with Hamilton we would completely hate Bartkowski. Soft, not a decent outlet pass, all over the place and not great hockey sense. He will carry the puck but often gets himself to deep and caught. He did have two nice passes across the net unfortunately for him they were on his own net. It's like his head is going a mile a minute and he just skates all over the place. I'm betting we see more of Weber moving forward.

He caught my eye in training camp and hasn't let up since. I thought last night it seemed the game was catching up to him a little but he kept his head above water, the poise is fantastic. It's a good thing for the Canucks as that D would be disastrous without him. Good young player.

Beating Luongo is always a good thing...Undisciplined Panthers took far too many PIMs...and Seabrook and Kane scored PP goals, Anisimov has also impressed early... The Panther goals were both on goal mouth scrambles...Trocheck, and Jagr (5 on 3 PP) scored...
As expected the D-Pairings were Seabrook/Svedberg, TVR/Hjammer, Daley/Rundblad...with Seabrook/Hjammer a couple extra shifts each period.
A 3-2 final to the 'Hawks.

He does that in every game. Takes off right before it ends. He also always stands by himself for some reason.

I didn't see the play, so I can't comment on it, but regarding Holtby his mark does seem to come off at least once a game. It did vs the Flames, and it did in their game previous to that vs Carolina. I feel like they should start handing him 2 minutes for delay of game because it is a regular occurrence, and a get out of jail free card of sorts as he can create a stoppage in play.
