Also, bringing in Hamilton, being super excited about our D-Core and it turning out to be Bouwmeester, Regehr, Phaneuf V2 would just be so Flames.

I don't think that's going to be the case, but it would just be typical.

Need to bench some guys and shake things up. Start Ortio as well. He's played before. Some times getting a start right in the fire is what's best for you. I'd sit Bollig next and bump Hamilton down to last pairing minutes and let him earn more minutes as he goes. Benching him outright isn't the answer.

I don't usually like to waste 3 hours of my day,
but when I do I watch my Flames play.

poor decision making by the coaches tied to inactivity up in the front office is beyond frustrating.

The players on the ice are either overwhelmed by the expectations or they simply have not found their mojo yet. In any case, this is the worst start. Starts with Treliving.

IMO it's time to panic. Back to back embarrassments at home is telling of problems deeper than just effort. I can't believe that Hartley would have lost the room just like that but the players clearly aren't playing a team game right now. Goaltending's not helping and Treliving has to take some blame here as the three headed goaltending monster has definitely played a role in this mess. Brad and Bob need to clean this up quickly or we will be talking draft by Christmas.

Also, what is up with the adjustments during the intermissions?

Why does every team come out so much harder in the 2nd?

To be fair, Hartley's record in Calgary with a team with any expectations has been dismal. The last time he had a team that was supposed to compete, they sucked ass too.

Hamilton the new Bouwmeester. I get he needs time to adjust but he's making the same mistakes he's made his entire career.

Maybe it's just me but despite our the awful performance our Flames have been showing, I think it's just a matter of time for this team to blend nicely together. Just give it time, boys.

Got to think the Flames need to make some tactical changes. Teams have figured out the stretch pass breakout now. Anytime we get the puck back we seem to punt it up the ice to the opposition, give it away in our zone or ice it.

Very good caps team and a flames team struggling to find anything to build around so far this season.

Feel like the flames need a 4-5 game road trip to the SE.

If they don't improve quickly we could be talking draft by Halloween. This team needs some serious work. I can't believe they lost their identity as soon as the expectations were placed on the team.
