The Flames need to crush the Oilers tomorrow to hopefully get their groove back. Too many mistakes

How many shots did they get in the last two periods?

They sucked tonight.

Strange title, I thought it was pretty even with the Flames out playing them for good stretches. Really, one lucky goal and flub cost them tonight.

Solid effort, fun game to watch.

Bad goal robs Flames of 3 on 3 that I think they would have won.

Ortio start tomorrow? Time to trade a goalie and ride two guys?

After the consistently mediocre goaltending to start the year, I'd like to see Ortio get a shot in net soon.

Backbreaker of a goal to let in but the play should never have happened in the first place. Bad drop by Gaudreau.

Very frustrating games so far. Not burying the chances when they get them is getting tiresome. Here's hoping everyone can gain some confidence tomorrow night!

Where is the offense? Also, not scapegoating Ramo, but can we see how they play in front of Ortio? Don't like him in the press box.

On the bright side, Giordano looked like Norris Gio. All he needs is Norris Brodie and we can pull a Minnesota type late season push if needed.

Our goalie situation REALLY needs to be figured out fast. Both Hiller and Ramo seem to have glaring weaknesses in their game. It's time for Ortio to get a start and see what we have.

brutal game after the first period.

that's 4 games in, and yet to see a good team game.

Ramo, that goal at the end is laughable.

Oh well, at least now we can watch the '86 Flames play the Oilers in game 7. We all know how that ends

I hope that this slow start is serving to perhaps cool down some of the contract negotiations that may be undergoing.

Last season was certainly a success, but I don't think the core group that is going to WIN is assembled yet. I don't think locking in guys in certain roles at this point is going to get it done for Calgary.

Also, regardless of whether you think it should be offside or not, that is an absolute stinker of a goal by Ramo with 90 seconds left.

Sure, we had some above average luck last season, but this team right here isn't working, isn't clicking, and isn't even putting themselves in the positions to get "lucky".
Im pretty sure this time last year they played like this.

The Flames deserved to lose but they were only a couple of minutes from salvaging at least a point or maybe two and then Ramo does what he does. Plays great all game then at the worst time lets in one of his patented WTF goals. Make no mistake this is a very, very poor start to the season and there should be some legitimate concern as the way they are playing may not even be good enough to beat the Oilers tomorrow night.
