I like Flipper on the cover, aren't any of you aware of the infamous EA cover jinx? :P
Yes indeed... but I hate looking at Tampa players. Last year 2k5 had The hobbit, this year NHL 06 has Vinny... I can't bare it! and a Leaf on 2k6? fata! Something had to be done!

the covers look great guys...I think I'm getting nhl 06 first this year...I've been a bigger fan of the 2k series in the past couple of years, but nhl 06 just seems like it'll be a lot of fun, even if its not 100% realistic...I'll probably pick up 2k6 a few months later.

2k6 gameplay is far superior to 06 from the media that's been released.
It's no secret that game sites have played the EA games on easy with the sliders untouched or tweaked to show more scoring so it's pretty unfair to give up on NHL 2006 without trying it for yourself.

I saw Madden 06 for PC at Futureshop and it came in a dvd sized case... I'm not doing a CD case size one. :P Hope that'll work.

I'll try to have it for tommorow, and again... keep the EA vs 2k opinions/arguements for another thread. I've seen 'em go on and on forever.

thanks

Yeah, I prefer DVD cases over jewel cases. I like what Rockstar did with the PC version of San Andreas and had it a hard cover manual with the CD attached to the inside of the back cover.

I have a friend who works EB and he said that all the games are going to be coming like Madden did.

sorry for posting kinda off topic, those look really great btw

I'll be buying the Ea version for Pc for sure, possibly Nhk2k6 if it's cheap enough for xbox, but I kinda doubt it I haven't really like it at all since it came out

Thanks, and yeah... I remember when games would be in those huge boxes. They went from that to little boxes, now to DVD shell cases.

Man, people have terrible senses of humor on this site. I'll give Peddle kudos for the Super Nintendo bit, but icarus and Tower need to work on their material. Sorry fellas :P

Meh, I don't like playing games like that... I need time to get used to a new game, and look through everything.
