I heard reports that Bickell had recovered from the vertigo. Has it come back?

Bryan Bickell being waived appears to be a wakeup call. Told team doesn't plan on sending him down if he clears #Blackhawks

That's exactly what I would say if I wanted another team to claim him.

Well played Chicago..

There are teams with cap room and need the winger depth, it's certainly not outrageous to think he could get claimed.

Slightly nervous about putting this out there, but saw a Blackhawks scout on my flight to Calgary today.

May not have anything to do with Bickell, but looks like he was coming to watch tomorrow's game.

This isn't directed at you because I appreciate the update, but I have yet to ever see a scout sighting turn into a trade.

Would be fun if it ever did though

They might be considering signing Wilson, too.

Wonder if Chicago would consider Bickell for Raymond? Yes Bickell makes an extra $800,000 a year, but out of the 2, i would think Bickell might be able to have a better shot at a bounce back year. If he did, Flames might be able to trade him in the summer. I have given up on Raymond. The only thing i see for him is a buy-out at the end of the year.

Frolik's high point of his career was his 13 minutes a game with the Hawks in their 2103 SC team.

Bickell's low point , the play that got him to the point that he got waived was his playing 14.5 minutes a game in the 2015 SC run.

Frolik is making more for a lot longer than Bickell

It's like you have the constant need to let everyone know you have a left field opinion on everything

Is there any truth to the rumours that Bickel's knees are shot?

I wonder if the left field opinions would evaporate if 18 people didn't always quote and respond to them. #meta

Bickell has had a return of the vertigo, as far as his knees, it hasn't seemed to have been an issue since he missed a couple weeks in 2013

As far as Bickell vs. Frolik...Frolik has better speed, can take draws, can PK and PP...Bickell, for all his supposed physicality was NOT the 'Hawks top hitting forward, and was inconsistent on the PP

Are you trying to say that Bickell's contract is better than Frolik's?

I would trade Raymond for Bickell. Even if Bickell isn't very good, he has winning experience and can play physically and has size. The only area that Raymond is better is in the contract department. I'd probably add a little something to the trade like a late pick or an excess prospect.

Having Bouma/Ferland/Bickell on the LW would be fun as well.

Maybe, just maybe, because he's much better than Bickell??
