I went early to the playoff games in Anaheim and loitered around the tunnel waiting for the Flames to come out for warm-up. As the Flames were leaving the room and congregating in front of it before entering the tunnel, I got major wafts of god awful stank.

I think during the playoffs they don't wash their gear. It smelled as bad as my own gear.

Just thought I'd add that to the conversation.

You don't want to smell nice when your screening the goalie. I used to drop farts in the crease too but don't pull that move anymore lol.

You are well on your way to becoming an $8 million man.

It's a good move. If you have a guy on your team who is juat rank it becomes even more effective.

Try Sani-Sport. My son had some gear cleaned, got the odor taken out.

I've filled my laundry room sink up, threw a bunch of tide and oxyclean in there, dunked the equipment in the steaming hot water, then taken a light brush and gently scrubbed it until all the brown stains are out. Drain and repeat. Then rinse and dry it outdoors over a couple days. My equipment has never smelled. I don't know how some guys can bare the smell of their unaired stinking equipment. That's just gross.
