Professional Carpet Cleaning vs DIY Rental

I used to do it myself and own a bissell which works ok but we needed to have our microfibre couch cleaned as well so we got some professionals in. They did an amazing job and you can tell the difference with professional equipment. I would recommend getting someone in. I think they charged us about 120 for all the carpets and couches.

This is funny, I golf with a rug doctor guy. There's no missing his van when he is in the parking lot.

I just had Alberta Carpet cleaners do our place, like 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms, with all of the up sells for about $600. There was 2 dudes as I think one was in training, but the main dude, was sweating, like dripping sweat he was working so hard. I thought they did a great job, and I was able to relax and drink margaritas while watching them do it.

I gave them both $20 tip also and told them I'd buy their lunch and they seemed happy.

I hired a professional after much research. It just looks like the rug doctor rental doesn't have the horses to compete with truck mounted equipment these guys have.

I'll maybe snap a few before and after pics and report on the experience. I'm getting it done Saturday.
