As soon as Brent and Sean said "we are doing brawn" I was like, OK, he's gonna puke.
That wake boarding challenge was a tough one. For anyone who has ever learned, you know it gets harder every time as your arms get weaker. Definitely harder for big guys to, so I can see why the wrestler struggled. Some of those falls were cringe inducing, especially when I played them in slo-mo(m wife wasn't quite as impressed )
Having the monkey bar thing after that was just cruel. I'm not sure why more teams didn't pick "brains", it seamed pretty easy.
And ya, Edmonton? ugh. I suppose the finale will be in Toronto...what a sad ending.

My condolences to the teams, who must now travel to Edmonton.

I have the same feeling, if Simi and Ope make it to the final 3. They'll be left in the dust between Jesse&Gino + the wrestlers.

Honestly at this point, I'd be OK with any team winning but if I HAD to pick one, I'd honestly want to give it to Brent and Sean. These guys truly have impressed me capped off with the performance on the wake boarding. I though for sure that would end them but once again, they freakin nail it. I was stunned. Very very impressive. And after that, they take the brawn challenge and finish that too. Hahahah, that one part, they are flipping the tire and pukey has to of course barf a few times and then "Ok, let's keep goin!!" Unreal. Good for you guys. IMO, they've overcome more than anyone.
The "ex's" man, that was getting painful to watch, that guy was such a d**k. Not sad to see them go at all.
I forget if it was her or the daughter from the other group but someone absolutely erased themselves numerous times on that ramp wakeboarding, I'm amazed she's still alive. Lol, that was funny to watch.
That had to be one of the most punishing legs I've ever seen in the race, American or Canadian.

When things were going well for them, the Exes were a strong team, but neither of them were supportive of the other when they hit any adversity.
It should be a two-horse race between the (non-vomit) brothers and the wrestlers, but anything can always happen.
You have to feel sorry for the pukey brother for next week's episode. Edmonton is hard to visit even if you have a strong stomach.

Love The Amazing Race Canada! I could be happy with any of the teams winning, although Simi and Ope would be cool as the underdogs. I was impressed that the daughter was able to think of the idea to climb on top of the monkey bars, instead of just trying to cross by using her arms over and over again. Monkey bars are harder for most women anyway and doing it after the wake-boarding would have been awful!

I think Gino and Jesse are pretty heavy favorites the rest of the way as long as they dont get screwed on the transportation side again. They dont really seem to be weak in any area other than working with cabbies.

Yeah, it would seem so. They are certainly the most athletic team.
But I'd say they are probably the least resourceful, and they are certainly not the smartest. In that final leg, there is usually some difficult brain puzzle that really can equalize an athletic advantage.
For smart and resourceful, Brent/Sean and Simi/Ope are clearly leaders, but are also the least athletic.

The fat gay brother who barfs reminds me of Eric Cartman when he has to exercise.

The whole bickering about cabs would be strange to see for Americans. It's a game and you've got to win. You'd never see the constant bitching about cab stealing on the American version that you see on the Canadian one.

Ope knocks out his own curling rock to hand the win to Gino and Jesse. And then instead of his daughter doing the acting, they choose Ope to recite the lines? Why on earth would they do that when English seems to take extra effort for him? Just strange decisions by him and his daughter...

You mustn't watch the American version very much because they fight over and complain about cabs all the time. Everything that happened with the cabs on this week's episode has happened numerous times on the American version over the years.
One thing the Americans have started doing is leaving their bags in a cab because it's against the rules for a team to interfere with another team's possessions. Even that doesn't always work because some cab drivers have removed a team's bags from their cab in order to take a different team. There was also the team who had their cab driver leave with their bags in his trunk and they got eliminated because one of the guys had his passport in his missing bag.

They didn't have a choice. When they showed a close-up of the clue, it specified who had to do the task for each team. Each racer can only do a maximum of 6 Road Blocks prior to the final leg. Simi had already done her 6, so Ope had to do it.
The only team that actually had a choice on the Road Block was Gino & Jesse because they had previously won a Fast Forward and avoided a previous Road Block, so they had each only done 5.

Probably the three teams that most deserve to be there.
By the quick highlights, I'm guessing Gino and Jesse may have an edge. Looks like their athleticism may be an advantage with what's ahead.
Should make for a great finale.

At this point, I'm cheering for either set of brothers. The wrestlers annoyed me when they got mad at Gino and Jesse for taking their cab, but then thought it was okay to take Simi and Ope's. Either stealing cabs is fair game or it's not, but you can't have one set of rules for your team and another set for everyone else.

Well that was a fantastic season. Might be biased, but I thought it was one of the best(including US version).
I nearly lost my ##### when John was in the Whistler Olympic Plaza and said something like "Canada is the best country in the world" and the jug of beer slides in the side of the frame. He smiles and takes a swig.
Chevy, that ad was not cool. Don't mess with a man's Amazing Race season finale.

Dang that roadblock in Vancouver was insane. I'd probably fail at doing that, or would end up doing what Sean did. One fall and all your confidence is out the window.
