Maybe put a "min 1 year as a Blue Jay" as a qualifier. Otherwise you can look at lots of Jays who put up an amazing short stint and then disappeared (pulled a Hinske).
Yeah, there are a few players on the team who could/should/will become the "best Jay" at at that position. But until the player becomes associated as a Blue Jay player then I have a hard time including them right now.
I suppose I think of it like this - If the player was to somehow make the Hall of Fame, what is the chance he goes in wearing a Blue Jays hat? If not then I probably don't include him.
So Molitor, Winfield, (Clemens, if he had been clean) will not get my vote - they are all primarily associated with other teams.
