We are spoiled. I don't know if there is another duo I'd rather have.

Bobby Heenan would be awesome though,

Jim Ross - "Good god, Bollig took a huge run at McDavid"
Heenan - "What happened my monitor went out?"

Heenan - "Its a dog eat dog world and Justin Schultz is a milkbone"

Heenan - "Edmonton, where all you have to do to graduate is milk a cow with your left hand"

talking about Taylor Hall

"His family is watching this at home wondering if the wheels are going to get stolen off of their house"

Talking about the Oilers new Jersey

"Obviously a model is missing her shower curtain"

Jim Ross - "Who is the leader of this young Oilers team"
Heenan - "I wouldn't be surprised if it was Tony Danza"

Jim Ross - "Pardon me"
Heenan - "I'm not the governor"

Now I want a Bobby Heenan night

It's been a long time since I've heard of a broadcast duo be so lauded by Cal Puck.

Well deserved, I really like their call.

Good to see them back. I thought Hrudey would be on the panel for Sportsnet more regularly as I heard then want more consistent members on the panel..Will see what happens I guess..Like Hrudey on both though..

They are a national calibre duo, and we are fortunate to have them doing the regional games.

I suddenly had a flash-forward to the fall, sitting in my basement, sipping from a wine glass, watching hockey. I don't want to wish the summer away, but watching hockey is one of those cozy, fall/winter rituals and I'm not afraid to say that I'm looking forward to it.

Roger's scares me so much with their dumb decisions and penny pinching that I saw "Rick Ball and Kelly Hrudey" at the top of FOi and went "Ahhhhhhhhhh **** off Rogers".

I see this complaint a lot, but people do realize that Rogers has spent more on Hockey than anyone in history, right???

Good.

My only complaint is that they take Hrudey off our broadcasts too often to put him in studio with Kypreos to play goalie while we get Mike Johnson instead.

I think mike Johnson will be more tolerable this year. Flames probably finally made a believer out of him.

Not a single dissenting opinion after 40 posts. Impressive, and probably a record on CP.

My only complaint is all 82 games weren't done by Ball & Hruds.
