Haha! I was just thinking the same thing. Probably got a decent return and put him right back in LA's face.

No surprise imo....with Rask already there and Subban in the wings, I have no doubt it was always Sweeney's intention to flip Jones for something/someone else.
Just need to see the return to figure out if Sweeney has regained any semblance of sanity.

Sweeney has really desecrated the bruins in the last week. Starts his rebuild by trading a 21 year old stud defensemen, trades away Lucic, gets a bunch of picks. Uses the picks by grabbing projected 2nd round prospects. Trades for Zac Rinaldo. Trades away Jones for _____.
When the dust settles I'd love to see an import export analysis of the bruins offseason.

If it's a pick AND a prospect, and the prospect is Mirco Mueller, I can't imagine the pick is anything major because Mueller is a first rounder. IMO that's pretty solid return.
