Hudler factoring in here somehow? As in does he stay and do they play together?

Frolik played 81 and 82 games last two years and had 42 points both years. Jones is injury prone, I'd say he'd be an upgrade.

I'd like Frolik, a decent 3rd line winger who can play on the 2nd too....an improvement over Jones and the rest.

Did you read the title? There's nothing tire less about Brad's approach.

Ken Wiebe @WiebeSunSports
#NHLJets pending UFA Michael Frolik has six in-person meetings scheduled today. Smart of the versatile F to be proactive in interview period

Very good penalty killer, and pretty solid all around game. At those dollars, not sure if he or Soderberg would be better

To live in Winnipeg?... I'm surprised he doesn't want $6 million per.

Would be a good addition to a the 3rd line in a shutdown role.
Could see him and Backlund having some decent chemistry actually.
Probably wouldn't want to pay him any more then 4 million though.

I had posted this in the "trade speculation" thread, as some of you were discussing garbage, like Bickell or Stalberg...
As a utility player that can even get spot time on top lines to cover injuries, I feel that Frolik is an excellent addition to any team...

So we would have the following RWs:
Hudler - top line RW
Colborne - 3rd line RW
Frolik - 3rd line RW
Jones - 3rd line RW
I don't really see any of those guys as bonafide top 6 forwards (except huds of course) but would give us good depth down the right side.

I think Frolik would play better if given 2nd line minutes.
