This is the first Awards show i'm watching. Is it usually so embarrassing?

Yeah no kidding, would they REALLY have put Stajan on it had he won?

EA is a garbage company.

I'd vote for Carey Price.

Does the EA cover have any nominees or is it just going to be anyone?

Maybe it's bias, but I will not truly and honestly understand if Gaudreau does not take home the Calder.

Yes, Ekblad played top-notch as an 18 year old defenseman. However, Florida did not make the playoffs on the back of his performance, and of any 18 year old defenseman Ekblad is built like a man-child able to handle it. Stone tied for tops in points, and really poured it on in about the last 1/3 of the season. Yet, Gaudreau did it consistently all year long, and he elevated players who were on the ice with him.

The best rookie, from the start to the end, that helped get his team into the playoffs and tied for the lead in rookie points, is Johnny Gaudreau.

Agreed 100%, but most voters are from the east. Stone shouldn't even be close IMO but he will be.

@lakingsinsider: Selke goes to Patrice Bergeron, not Anze Kopitar. Again, this trophy has been awarded only once to someone who plays west of Central Time.

@SUNRandySportak: #Flames sophomore Sean Monahan finished 20th in Selke Voting. Even received a first place vote.
