Maybe, but he really worked on his skating the last 3-4 years to the point where now he has above average speed and edge work for a bigger guy.

Far from a guaranteed NHL player though.

Glad we didn't trade for him. Even if he was a decent prospect, his being an entitled daddy's boy would be annoying to have as part of the organization. I was embarassed for the kid reading his weird path through hockey. Too bad dadsy couldn't buy the kid any skills lol.

How do you know he's a daddy's boy? He's taking advantage of a stupid set of rules that allow him to ask for the world. Blame the NHL and the NCAA for allowing such crap.

And some rich family's still make sure their kids are grounded...Joe Colborne's family is probably top 100 wealthiest in Calgary and yet he's got a great head on his shoulders.
