Great editing on the video. I really enjoy how you piece together different broadcasts for the same play and how you let the audio from the previous highlight run into the next one

Thanks AC for making me waste an evening watching highlights lol! Truly appreciate the work and effort.
After watching the vids there were many plays I had not seen even though I watched or listened to almost every game.
Gaudreau is amazing. At the start of the first vid it was easy to see teammates not ready for passes. A ton of missed chances. I can not see a sophomore slump with Gaudreau. 15 or 20 points were missed. This is also assuming Gaudreau doesn't get any better.
As for the Calder? We all know who should win it. That goal was in twice! Calgary will get the short end of the stick here. Yet does it matter?

Thanks! I do as much if not more editing for the audio compared to just the video.
I try and make what is said actually worth hearing. Hrudey is usually good for providing worthwhile insight. With Simmer I would do so much chopping and editing to make his sentence seem coherent.

The Dallas game that put them out of the hunt stood out for me. Gaudreau had dazzeled us all year long offensively then comes up with a huge shot block and then sticks away a surefire pass for goal. Kid wore it on his sleeve that game.

That's what I meant. I expect Stone or Ekblad to win based on eastern voters not staying up late enough to watch as many western games, and not getting to see how much more ability to dictate the pace of a game and skill Gaudreau has than Stone. And if it can't be Gaudreau it should be Ekblad winning the Calder.

Stone scored av ton of points in less ice time and less pp opportunity. Let's not make it sound cut and dry. There's lots of reasons to vote for stone too

Thank You for the video AC, there are so many moments in that 26 minute video where you just have to rewind and shake your head. Absolutely mind blowing stuff, now let's see if he can do it against NHL defencemen that is the question.
Current Vegas odds to win the Calder are
Gaudreau -144 (Bet $100 to win $44)
Ekblad - +150 (Bet $100 to win $150)
Stone +333 (Bet $100 to win $333)
So if you know something they don't maybe you should drop a few on Stone.

Wow! Great videos. My immediate thought after watching was with a little luck he could have been one of the league leaders in scoring.

I dunno how they can have betting odds on something that has been decided for months. Seems rigged.

How do you come up with odds for awards seeing they are not based on any metric other than media voting and bias? I supposed they can poll media?

My guess is the odds are based on the bets or to start off, an educated guess on who will be favoured by the betters and adjusting the odds depending on where the money is going. More betters are taking Johnny than the other two. The bookies don't care who is favoured or who wins, they just want the most action so they get the biggest cut.

The way gambling odds work is that they follow the money. More people are betting on Johnny, so his odds of winning go up therefore the payout goes down if you bet on him now.
It was initially set equally between the three.
