Yah the montage was good but they didn't do the thing where the players say wher they're from and than the hockey idols were. I always look forward to seeing that.

I love watching the end, no matter if my team is there or not, just to see the emotion and celebration, so it was a little weird this year, i didnt know, do I stay with CBC or switch over to sportsnet, definitely not the same, but good none the less.

Crawford came up huge in the Cup Finals. A far cry from the way he played against Nashville in the first round. Was my second choice for the Conn Smythe behind Keith.

But most Chicago sports fans know how fleeting these kind of chances are, and not only does this success have to be earned, a large element of luck is also involved...In all Chicago professional sports, except for the double 3-peat with the Bulls, there has been much more down time for our teams (yes, I'm a Cub fan too), than success...enjoy the moment, enjoy the ride...
congrats! ride and enjoy it well it lasts!

Toews is the best leader in hockey right now and all I know is thankfully Monahan is made of the same ilk. cheers to the current dynasty and the future!

I absolutely despise Chicago with every fibre of my being...

But it never gets old watching guys lift the Stanley Cup. (Except Edmonton)

For those wondering, not the actual montage, but the song they used:

Pretty amazing accomplishment in the salary cap era. Congrats to the hawks.

Another bonus is no over the top celebration for the lightning radio guy mishkin.

Watching the Blackhawks play, especially in big games, is a real treat.

Quenneville deserves a lot of credit here. A lot of the consistency over the years has to come from coaching.

They weren't up 3-2 and had a phantom goal waved off that cost them the cup so no, I don't think they quite know how it feels.
