Even if game 4 is too soon, would be huge to have Bouma for Game 5 in Anaheim. Whether 2-2 or 1-3, that game will be the type of battle that he was born to fight.

I'm pretty sure Boudreau is smart enough to see through that. He's probably of the mindset that he'll see who the Flames are dressing when they submit their lineup card, other than that it's all gamesmanship.

I never get the mind game aspect.

I understand how effective Bouma is for the Flames, but how does this fool the Ducks? How does the inclusion or exclusion of Bouma in the Flames line-up change the Ducks game plan? I think their game plan changes when a guy like Giordano is suddenly playing.

Bouma is valuable to the Flames, but I don't know if he is that huge of a concern for opposition teams. The top players are who they are most concerned about.

This. It would be like if Pat Maroon was day-to-day and had missed the first 3 games. Do you think Hartley's game plan or message to his team changes if Maroon is at practice the day before or not? I highly doubt it.

They don't Have to be in tomorrow.. I think we can do it at home with the same guys, given that we're getting our footing now and the home crowd will give us extra juice as always. But game 5 in Anaheim we will need all hands on deck and any big physical bodies will be a massive boost, as we have to find a way to win at least one there. Just make sure they are good to go Sunday.

Bouma and Ferland back would be huge. In that case though I don't know who would come out of the lineup. Granlund for sure. I know a lot of people will say Raymond but I thought he played an awesome game on Tuesday, and Bollig also scored a goal and also looked good. It would be awesome if we were blesses with some tough decisions on whose in and whose out of our line up.

No kidding, dont forget this guy was 4th on this team in scoring for forwards.

He brings grit, intensity, speed and scoring.

Bouma's back baby. They need him out there more than anyone else, even @ 80%.

His PK and shot blocking ability is sorely missed.

If we can get Gio and Bouma back before an elimination game look out!

I think we could go all the way with those two back in.

Having Bouma and Ferland back would really change the dynamics of our forwards up front. We might have a chance to get physical on the forecheck finally and me able to win some board battles

Any update on Ferland?

If both he and Bouma manage to make it back this series, I'm not sure who you'd even take out. Raymond has been good (not great) and Jooris gives you really good energy/speed/grit on the fourth line and PK.

Really hope to see Bouma back in the lineup.

Gio taking full contact is great news, sounds like his recovery is ahead of schedule.
