Ha, great comments guys, thanks!

Seriously though....no hooker and blow suggestions.?! I guess $100 wouldn't go far with that these days anyway right.

I'll bring one of those Galla-keg type boxes of Tims coffee, and a pile of donuts to work tomorrow and call er done I think.

Just walk by him for a few days and make it rain, then stare at him and say "What did we learn?"

I have no good advice just a question: is "he gave me the brown" a common saying I've somehow managed to miss out on completely?

Canadian $100 bills are brown. People enjoy playing with language. I'm sure there are countless funny permutations.

I hear it's a pretty common phrase in the basement of a certain chicken restaurant.

Not anything I've heard recently, but in my teens/twenties throughout the 80's we used it frequently when we wanted to feel like a big shot.

" I felt like a big shot when he hands me the brown"

Even with that cost, you should have enough to pay for a portion of a nice meal with your wife.

And consider giving him credit for the coffee and doughnuts as someone else mentioned. It makes long term betting in general a hell of a lot more fun IMO.

My dad did that with an Oilers fan he works with:

A 2010/10/16 Oilers 3 - Flames 5 L $20
A 2010/10/26 Oilers 4 - Flames 5 (SO) L $40
H 2011/01/01 Oilers 1 - Flames 2 L $80
H 2011/03/26 Oilers 4 - Flames 5 (SO) L $160
A 2011/04/06 Oilers 1 - Flames 6 L $320
A 2011/10/18 Oilers 1 - Flames 2 L $640
H 2011/12/03 Oilers 3 - Flames 5 L $1280

You can only give a guy so many chances.... haha

I agree with this. If he is a buddy take him out for some beers and food and burn up the brown one. If its not your friend take the wife out...
